EventsX Community Guidelines
What are these community guidelines?
We have set out in these guidelines the rules and standards that apply to all participants in an EventsX Event, to content uploaded to an Event at www.eventsx.com (the "Platform"), and to interactions with other users.
The Platform
Everyone must follow these guidelines when using EventsX.com, regardless of whether you are an organizer, speaker, sponsor, or just attending an Event.
Use the following content standards whenever you contribute to EventsX.com, upload content, or communicate with other users on EventsX.com.
Contributions you make or content you upload must comply with these standards, and you agree to be liable and indemnify us if that warranty is breached.
In the event a third party claims that any content submitted by you violates their intellectual property rights or privacy rights, we have the right to release your identity.
On our site, other users have expressed views that may not represent our own.

You must comply with these guidelines if you intend to use the Platform. If you do not agree with these guidelines, you should not use the Platform.

You must also abide by our User Terms when using the Platform.
Changes to the guidelines
These guidelines are amended from time to time. The most recent amendment occurred on 25 February 2022.
Uses that are prohibited
The Platform can be used only for lawful purposes. The Platform cannot be used:

in any way that violates any local, national, or international law or regulation.

in any way that has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect, or acting unlawfully or fraudulently.

for unlawful or fraudulent purposes or with unlawful or fraudulent effects.

for bullying, insulting, intimidating, or humiliating anyone.

for sending, uploading, downloading, using, or re-using any content that does not adhere to our content standards set forth below.

for transmitting, or procuring the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (spam).

to send or upload material that contains viruses, Trojan horses, worms, time bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware, or other harmful programs or similar computer code that destroys or adversely affects the performance of any computer software or hardware.
You agree also to the following:

The Platform or any of its content may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, or re-sold in violation of the provisions of this document unless you are explicitly permitted to do so.

Any automated method or any manual process that accesses, modifies, or copies any content or information on EventsX.com, without our express permission, is prohibited.

Any deep link to EventsX.com without our express written permission is strictly prohibited.

Unless we have given you prior written permission, you agree not to "frame", "mirror" or otherwise incorporate any part of EventsX.com into any other website.

By using this platform, you agree not to access, tamper with, damage, or disrupt any part of it without authorization.

You are prohibited from accessing, interfering with, damaging, or disrupting any equipment or network on which the Platform is stored.

Any software used to provide the Platform may not be accessed, interfered with, damaged, or disrupted by you.

A third party's equipment, network, or software may not be accessed, interfered with, damaged, or disrupted by you.

Interactive Features
Whether you are attending an Event as an attendee or using the Platform as an authorized user of the event organizer, you will have access to several interactive features ("interactive features").
No content moderation
Please note that all interactive features on the Platform are unmoderated. It is the responsibility of each user or event organizer to submit the content to EventsX.com. Content will be moderated only if a complaint has been raised via our complaints process. Please contact us at abuseme@eventsx.com if you have a legitimate concern about content on www.eventsx.com or if a user violates these terms.
Our Platform does not require us to oversee, monitor, or moderate any of the interactive features provided by the Platform, and therefore we will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by the use of any interactive feature by a user who violates our content standards, regardless of whether the feature is moderated or not.
However, if we are made aware or discover that a User has violated these guidelines, we may in our sole and absolute discretion terminate their access to the Platform with immediate effect.
The moderator will normally provide you with a way to contact him or her in the event of a concern or difficulty.
Children under the age of 18 are not permitted to use any of our interactive features without their parent or guardian's consent. Parents who permit their children to access interactive features should explain to their children the importance of online safety to them. Whenever a minor uses an interactive feature, they should be informed of the potential risks involved.
Content standards
Please note that these content standards ("Content Standards") apply to all Contributions (as defined in the User Terms) that you make to the Platform and any interactive features associated with it.
Content Standards must be adhered to in both spirit and letter. Each part of the Contribution is subject to the same standards as the entire contribution.
In our sole discretion, we will determine whether a Contribution violates the Content Standards.
Contributions should be truthful (if they contain facts).
The opinion expressed in a Contribution must be genuine.
All Contributions must conform to English and Welsh laws, as well as the laws of any jurisdiction where they are posted.
Contributions cannot contain defamatory material.
Bullying, insulting, intimidating, or humiliating should never be part of a contribution.
Sexual abuse material must never be part of a contribution.
Contributions cannot promote sexually explicit content.
We do not accept Contributions that are obscene, offensive, or hateful.
Contributions must not promote discrimination based on race, age, gender, nationality, disability, religion, or sexual orientation.
Contributions must not breach any legal duties owed to third parties, including covenants of confidentiality or contractual obligations.
Contributions should not be in contempt of court.
Contributions should not be likely to harass, upset, embarrass, alarm, or annoy others.
You may not impersonate any person, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person in your Contribution.
Contributions must not advocate, promote, or incite any party to commit, or assist any party in committing, any unlawful or criminal act, such as copyright infringements and computer misuse, for example.
The Contribution may not contain any statement on which you know or believe, or have reasonable grounds for believing, that members of the public to whom the statement is published may interpret it as an invitation, encouragement, or another inducement to commit, prepare for, or instigate acts of terrorism.
Breach of these guidelines
If we find that these guidelines have been violated, we may take appropriate action.
By failing to comply with these community guidelines, you are in violation of the User Terms that govern your use of the Platform, and this may result in any or all of the following actions:

Withdrawal of your right to use the Platform immediately, temporarily, or permanently.

Removal of any Contribution uploaded by you to the Platform, immediately, temporarily, or permanently.

issue of a warning.
-
legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis resulting from the breach.

further legal action(s) against you.

disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary or as is required by law.
All actions we take in response to violations of these community guidelines are excluded from our liability. In addition to those described above, we may take any other action we deem appropriate
Take-down Notices
The use of your copyrighted work on www.eventsx.com may constitute copyright infringement, so please inform us immediately if you believe that has been done. To submit a valid complaint, you must provide the following information in writing:

Copyright owner's electronic or physical signature;

Identify the copyrighted work you claim is being infringed upon;

Identification of the material that is allegedly infringed and its location on the website;

Provide information reasonably sufficient to enable us to contact you, such as your address, telephone number, and email address;

Your belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or by law; and

Upon signing, you certify that the above information is accurate and that you are the owner of the copyright or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
